Estimator - Commercial Construction
We’re working with a well-established commercial construction business to find an experienced Estimator to join their team. This is a key role within the pre-construction function, supporting tender preparation through to post-tender negotiations.
You’ll be involved across a range of commercial projects, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver accurate, competitive tenders with a clear understanding of risk.
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring a strong commercial construction background, be commercially sharp, and confident producing high-quality tenders that balance cost, value, and risk.
Key requirements:
Solid experience in commercial construction, ideally with a background in quantity surveying or pre-construction
Proven experience using estimating software
Strong time management and ability to manage multiple tenders at once
Confident negotiating and building relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Clear and professional communication skills
A collaborative approach, with a willingness to take ownership and contribute to the wider team
Leadership capability or the potential to support and mentor others
This is a permanent opportunity with real scope for growth, working within a supportive and well-established team delivering a strong pipeline of work.
If you’re someone who enjoys the challenge of taking a tender from initial enquiry through to project award, and want to be part of a team where you can add value and grow your career, this is a great opportunity to consider.
What’s on offer:
Competitive salary package
Supportive team environment with a strong culture
Ongoing professional development and career progression
Health and wellbeing initiatives
Flexible leave options
Additional employee benefits and support services
